Historische hotels in South End

'Everything was great the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean'

'Nice location.'

'Clean, air conditioned, a bit of a septic smell, but easily combatted with open windows and it goes away pretty fast. Comfortable beds with all supplies you need except the food.'

'Responsive host; as advertised. Thanks for coffee!'

'Another great stay at the Perthshire house . '

'We loved staying on the houseboat instead of a hotel. We had stayed on a houseboat the last time we visited Boston and it was a cool experience. It’s quiet and peaceful and more quaint than a hotel. Communication was great and made the check in process easy. We met up with sherry and she explained everything thoroughly. Very grateful. We traveled with 4 adults, 2 elementary aged children and a dog. A little tight but we made it work. Overall a great experience. Love.'

'It was a perfect location for our daily plans. The owner was very responsive to our needs '

'Everything was clean and nice. We enjoyed our stay a lot.'

'We booked this suite for a weekend event we had in Boston. Boston prices were that weekend, which led us here. The space was clean and comfortable, with an extra small room for my adult son, giving us room to spread out. Parking in the driveway was a bit tricky, we were lucky to be able to park on the street. Communication with the host was excellent. It was an easy drive into Boston. The suite is on the third floor which was no issue for us, but travelers should be aware.'

'Sink Faucet in the main bathroom was wobbly, had difficulty turning on cold tap. Wall paint in main bathroom was peeling off. Parking was not that great . We have to park in the street after 7pm if you want free parking. We ended up staying in the property from4pm til 7pm so we can secure the spot where we were parked. We were afraid there won’t be available parking spot if we leave our parking spot. I don’t feel like the bedsheets were freshly laundered. My pillow case doesn’t smell like it was...

'De dame aan de balie was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, zowel bij aankomst als vertrek. Alleen de bar man, kan beyer ander werk zoeken. Deze was onvriendelijk, ongeinteresseerd. Iemand zei het eten was lekker en hij reageerde met zal wel. Bij ons gooide hij het bestek op tafel. Vreemde man en zeler niet op zijn plaats. Verder is het eem schitterend historisch hotel.'

'Well represented property. Well equipped and very good communication/information provided by the hosts. We really enjoyed the backyard patio area and also the use of a BBQ. It was a perfect place to relax and for our little dog to enjoy some open shady space. Nice to have a dedicated parking spot off the street. It is well situated close to the "T" red line transit (either walking or a short drive to the park and ride at North Quincy station). We used it to travel to Fenway for a Red Sox game....
