Strandhotels in South San Diego

'My blanket’s were dirty and wet'

'The staff made our experience that much more pleasant. The decorations and ambiance were awesome. The willingness of the staff to go above and beyond was the cherry on top. Rooms were super clean.'

'The property the staff and all the amenities were exceptional and well thought out. The one surprise I had was that they charge for parking on a daily basis ...Hmmm I wonder why ? The pet fee I was expecting but a flat pet fee of $75 and we only stayed two days. Makes me wonder if you can charge a daily fee for parking why not do the same for a pet fee. Otherwise I love this hotel and will stay there on my visits to San Diego. Minus my pet ha ha .. Thanx'

'The rooms are very clean, Mr. Ross has excellent customer service skills is approachable and caring'

'The issue is that the AC unit was loud and that curtains would not completely block out the light from the outside. I tried all night to get curtains to stay completely closed but was unsuccessful. A bit pricey for not being able to sleep well during the stay due to the mentioned issues.'

'Good'

'Breakfast very basic and oranges and bagels finished before the end of breakfast time, which is already at 9.00. Room was OK, but bath old and cracked. For what you pay it's OK, close to the trolley as well, but wouldn't stay a second time.'

'The rooms are not soundproof, so you can hear the traffic outside and, of course, your neighbors. Whether this is a problem depends on the individual. However, it's otherwise a great hotel, within walking distance of the trolley station. There's a shopping center within walking distance, and a good restaurant next to the hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful, which is why this hotel deserves so many stars in our opinion.'

'Good place to stay for work.'
