'This is a new property. The room was very clean and spacious. They had cute decorations and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were so helpful, carried our luggage to our room as there is not an elevator. Staff also helped us with finding transportation. Loved this space. '

'So serene and calming! The views from the living room are absolutely unreal, especially through the gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows. While drinking coffee this morning, we even got to watch a mama moose and her two babies casually walk by! The bathrooms are beautiful, modern, and brand new, and the entire place was exceptionally clean. The bedding was also incredibly comfortable. We loved our stay so much that we actually rebooked this place for after the rest of our trip! The owner was...

'We absolutely loved our stay. The property is immersed in nature, close but far enough from Seward. The cabins are basic but this is really the point. The highlight of our stay was surely the friendliness of Gary (the manager/owner) and even his friends. A true pearl, a true local stay. Kids loved it too! The only place we stayed in Alaska that had its own playground, close to the lake. No small feat!'

'The kitchen was not what we were expecting and it was tough with the only sink being the kitchen sink for the cabin and keeping hair and grooming items away from food.'

'The room was certainly acceptable, although it was a bit small, but it was clean. It also had a shower with a door instead of a curtain, which is always more pleasant. What was strange was that I heard an irregular banging noise all night long (room 1). At first, I thought it was coming from the saloon, but it had been closed for a long time. Maybe something in the pipes? As a result, I hardly slept.'

'The place is about half hour from Seward which is great if you don’t get accommodation in Seward. We stayed in cabin 6, and there was junk yard all around that with old broken vehicles which is not a good sight. I felt the place was overpriced'
