'My husband and I stayed here on our way back to Long Island after a family wedding. The house was very clean and just right for the two of us. A little hint going forward, pick up any food you need at LaPlanta. There are only small markets close to the house and are quite pricey. If you are looking for a relaxing leave the world behind place to stay, this is the place for you.'

It is fairly remote with plenty of wildlife to see, deer, toads and of corse birds and ocean creatures, but also close enough to plenty of restaurants, bars, stores and historical sites. 'The Red Oyster House (ROH) is just as charming as can be. The hosts have put a lot of thought into the details and have provided many amenities, both small and large. 'This home sits right on the water! It is beautiful! We watched ships roll by, ducks bobbing on the water, and flocks of geese flying and landing on the water. The view from both lower and upper decks are amazing! We spent lots of time on the decks even though it was cold - we just covered ourselves with blankets.
