'The photo in the review is not the apartment we stopped in. The apartment we stopped in is definitely getting a little tired with a few repairs required however it has everything you want and nothing you don’t need. Would recommend for those transiting through Mansfield. The area (given I grew up there) is one of the better areas of Mansfield and the property is gated so nice and secure.'

'Plenty and easy parking. When I entered the bar, I was confronted with Theakstone's on draught, real ale, which is one of my all time favourites (only temporarily available) so I knew that my stay was going to be excellent. Nice food, very friendly staff and nice breakfast. It was my first stay, but hopefully not my last. My routing when travelling in the UK varies, but I hope I can include the Forest Lodge in my future travel plans. It would be worth driving a bit extra to arrive here. '

'We absolutely loved our stay from beginning till almost the end. When we arrived we were told by the male staff member that breakfast was included. At check out that turned out not to be the case. Luxe keuken met vaatwasser, en alle nodige keukengerei aanwezig, alleen zelf afwassponsje afwasmiddel en vaatdoeken mee is wel handig. Ontbijt is alleen heel beperkt: snack&grab . 'Had a great stay here for one night. Was the perfect basecamp for exploring the city, easy walk to most everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and always available.
