'De kamers zijn OK. Net en redelijk comfortabel maar niet echt gezellig (redelijk donker, vast tapijt en geen sfeerverlichting) maar er is wel een lekker en aangenaam restaurant maar Italiaanse inslag. Het personeel en de eigenaars zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De Wi-Fi is traag waardoor werken niet zo vlot verloopt. '

'People working at the Royal were great. The hotel was a little dated and the room was missing a few bulbs for the lights.. it served our purpose and was in town close to everything we needed. Spent every night in the bar area, drinks and food were good prices..

'Always a good place to return but will point out that this morning breakfast was not the best as it looked like bacon had been microwaved but was cold and a bit anemic. This was a buffet as opposed to a cooked breakfast I received on previous occasions. Staff are very good and I will still return to this hotel. Hopefully this morning was a one off. '

'The breakfast was amaizing!!! The room had heating, i turned radiator down but nice if u like heat... the bed was very close to the tv on wall so getting to yhe otherside of the bed you are banging into bed.
But rest brilliant, fabulously comfy bed and affordable.'

'We stayed over for a night on a motorcycle trip. The hotel was perfect for our stay with beautiful views of the Humber from an open terrace at the back of the hotel. The room was nice and quiet with only the rabbits as neighbours. The bed was great too ensuring a good slumber near the Humber!'

'The hotel reception and bar area is lovely with beautiful views of Humber Bridge, but the rooms are poorly ventilated, no aircon or power sockets by the bed and are in need of a facelift.

'The property is an old coaching Inn full of character, with easy parking close to your room, located in pleasant quiet village. The room was excellent clean, quiet and comfortable and located in an out building across the courtyard from the pub. I enjoyed an excellent evening meal in the pub from their extensive menu. Following a good night's sleep enjoyed a hearty breakfast also served in the pub. All the staff were polite, helpful and friendly. I will certainly use this property again and...

"The service from the staff was very good: friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, a lot to choose from. The room was a bit small for a familyroom in a hotel with 4 stars. Also warm. The parking was in the weekend full so we had to spend 28 pound for a parkingticket."
