A 15 minute walk by some fine architecture takes you to the heart of the city. Perfect for a family getaway. The connecting walls are a bit thin however, so you there is no ABSOLUTE silence when the neighbours are home.'

'Well-located just 20 mins walk from all the main sights in York's historical centre and includes free parking space for one car. Readily accommodates 6 people in kingside / twin beds in 3-storey townhouse. Well fitted out and spotlessly clean on arrival (and our departure!). '

'We really enjoyed our stay at this flat. The location was perfect - close to the activities in York, but on a quiet street. It's a small place, but worked fine for our family of four. As others mentioned, the stairs are a bit steep and there's a wonky step to get from the master bedroom to the bathroom - but that's just part of being in an old home. '
