'This is the second time I have stayed at this property - once with my family and this time with friends. The house is very conveniently situated - a walk into the city centre or an easy bus ride. The house is an incredibly cute little cottage finished to a really high standard. It has everything you could possibly need and the owners have thought of everything! All the little touches were very much appreciated (like a bottle of milk and even a bottle of Prosecco!) I would definitely recommend...

'This cottage is represented well by the photographs on the website. It had everything we needed for our stay. We are two adults and two children (15, 12) and there was adequate room for us all. There were no issues with parking directly outside the property, we managed to get a space everytime. Helmsley is a lovely place, everyone was very friendly. This cottage was an excellent base for exploring the nearby area.'

'We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. 'Wonderful cottage in the most perfect location. Close to everything and across from museum gardens which are lovely. Super host who certainly goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is amazing. Absolutely loved coming home to this cozy cottage after spending the day exploring York.'

'Really lovely property and enough space for 5 of us. Everything was as described and clean. We had a fabulous 4 night stay and a great location. It was easy to get to York, McArthur Glen and Scarborough. We would definitely return, the owners are lovely and the bonus, a little farm shop.'
