'We stayed here for a week and the place is very clean. Walking distance to the tram station. People at the front desk were very polite and helpful. '

It was far enough away from all of the really crazy tourist locations that it was calm. Nice to be able to sit on the deck and enjoy the calm and quiet of the back garden area. If you want to be in the middle of a touristy area, this isn’t for you. If you want some quiet and you want to feel private and calm- book now! A quick 10 minute walk...

'What an amazing stay we had in Amsterdam. The apartment was incredibly convenient to the tram stop, to restaurants and cafes, to an incredible gym and to the wonderful Oosterpark. We got used to the twisty steep stairs in no time. Once inside, the apartment had everything we needed for our 8-day stay. We enjoyed a couple of evenings in over dinner. 'We were traveling as a family with two of our young adult children. We love staying in properties that offer local character, and this property delivers. Located across from a canal, it has extensive views of all the comings and goings on the canal. Beautiful! Please heed the owner's warning about the steep stairs. If you have mobility challenges in any way, this property is not for you. Having said that, my husband has a bum knee, and he was able to manage. Interior stairway offers child safety...

'A gorgeous old former warehouse from the 17th century, restored reverently, in a historic and vibrant neighborhood. A picture postcard canal view out the bedroom window, and a lovely little terrace off the living room. All appliances and fixtures of the highest quality. Suffused with sunlight. When a little issue came up, Stan was on it graciously and immediately. I believe that this is the best experience we have ever had with VRBO.'

'The neighborhood was away from the central area so it was quieter and had access to everything needed. The best part was the gracious kindness and assistance from the hosts when we had lost a wallet and needed to put a hold on credit and bank cards. Hans went above and beyond to help in every possible way. He was also very responsive to assisting with technically challenging appliances and in helping us navigate the transportation. I highly recommend this property and its hosts.'

'Had such a wonderful stay here - clean apartment with everything you could need for a wonderful stay including amenities like shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, etc. There were two very informative and easy to read small instruction booklets (with pics) on how to use the appliances, get around, neighborhood facts and even a section on how to get medical care which we ended up needing - was so thankful to have the information at our fingertips.
