'Unfortunately this was our first VRBO stay that was unsatisfactory. The check in process was confusing but fortunately we had a friend who spoke Spanish and could translate for us. The location was great but it was the only thing that was accurate about this property. We checked in on Monday night and hoped for a hot shower. There was no hot water. In addition there were multiple items that were not working including one whole sink in the double bathroom and only the left handle on the other...

'The apartment is large and clean and well appointed. Elevator access. Location is in a small square across the river from the old town. Not in the old town as indicated on the VRBO map. Just a few minutes walk across the old bridge to the church and the market. Limited parking in Bilbao. I used the train station - expensive, and dodgey. The immediate area up from San Fransisko street is a bit dodgey. Exercise caution when passing through this area.'

"Kamer top. Modern en vrij nieuw. Aparte indeling maar werkte prima. Leren bankje was een misser want daarin zakte je flink weg. Airco werkte minimaal. Lastig om temperatuur lager te krijgen. Oplossing was raam openzetten. Dat werkte prima maar dat was in de nacht en avond geen optie vanwege geluid van verkeer voor de deur. Personeel heel vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Compliment is op zijn plaats. Zou het hotel bij een herhaald bezoek aan Bilbao zo weer boeken."
