'We had trouble with key pad it took the last day to finally get use to it. There is poor communication about were the room is located. Ours ended up On second floor which if I had been aware would not have booked there (have ashma and have trouble climbing steps. ) small ice machine with all the guest it was always empty. IT ADVERTISED AS QUIET BUT WITH NOISEY GUEST TRAIN WHISTLE AND OLDER BUILDING it was not. I think with some matenance repairs it could be a nice place.'

'So clean and cozy! Great place to stay'

'Great place to stay!'

'There was a very strong odor. It met our needs for 1 night.'

'We were staying at the schoolhouse to go hiking and ride bikes. They house has been tastefully decorated. I enjoyed the quite community and the listening to the tree frogs at night. Front Royal has a few things you can enjoy such as the movie theatre, bakery and state park. I would highly recommend this propery.'

'My husband and I stayed 1 night. The room was private and easily accessible. The communication with the host was prompt and helpful. Would recommend to fks traveling through Luray.'

'Good room, excellent common area, in a neighborhood near Main Street,'

'Perfect for a quick getaway. There are 3 tiny cabins on the property, but they are situated to provide privacy. Our cabin was the furthest from the river (a short walk away). The cabin is tiny, but it had what we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and grill/patio.'

'What a wonderful stay! The apartment was very comfortable in a nice setting. (There was a fawn nestled near the front porch!). I would recommend to anyone visiting area. Holly was a very helpful and accommodating host.'

'Being on the river was excellent, it was quiet and relaxing.'

'This property is absolutely perfect: great location for walking through the historic part of town, close to food & fun, very well appointed (right down to quality toilet paper!) & perfectly clean. Yuliya responded very quickly from the moment I made the reservation to checkout. We would stay again for sure! Thank you, Yuliya & Mark!'

'Perfect for a quick stay over when going to shenedoah natl park. Location is awesome. Very clean and spacious! Highly recommend!'

'The grounds were not well-maintained. Grass was tall, in need of cutting, two dead decorative shrubs at the entrance of the door, large tree limbs on the roof and on the property grounds, would’ve liked to have enjoyed the gazebo, but the path was overgrown, needed mulching, gazebo not clean to sit in. We wanted to sit on the front porch, but it too was unkept-dirt and sticks. Ice machine was empty all the time. TV on the bedroom wall, but had to stream with buffering pauses. We booked a two...

'This historic property is one of the most charming properties we have stayed in throughout our travels. Our host is a consummate gentleman also.'

'This property was charming and quaint. For us two sisters wanting two separate beds, only the 3rd level attic type room was available, which entailed walking up 2 sets of stairs and the last one pretty steep. This was not quite relayed to us when booking. The property has two big pluses: it is only a quick walk to the Main street with lots of nice restaurants and shops AND only 10 minutes to the majestic Luray Caverns. Not sure if because of the time of year, but the patio was not cleaned...

'OMG, it is SUCH a couzy place! Like a fairytale multiplied by hygge time three! Well equipped, decorated with great taste and attention to detail. Close to the national park, shops, restaurants. Beautiful views on the river and blossoming cherry trees!! I woul like to come back one day! '

'An exceptional property in an amazing location. One of a kind. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for a quiet retreat. Be aware that it is quite isolated and bring whatever food or beverages you prefer. The cottage has a full kitchen stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Lots of dishes and silverware. There is a Keurig coffeemaker and pods, etc. and a few energy bars were left out but I was glad that I had brought my own (microwaveable) dinner and snacks.'
