'Great location, Helpful & nice Staff, Bar open 24/7 - Clean rooms on arrival, but cleaners not great during the stay. The shower was the biggest disappointment, not enough pressure and Temperamental temperature. The breakfast menu is quite poor with vegetarian options, for example the vegan breakfast was full of fake meat products rather than veg and plant based ingredients. lots of local Cafes'

'Although in an older building, it is obvious the owners have made an effort to keep the rooms updated. Well decorated and appointed large room with large en suite. bath. Friendly service at check-in and at breakfast.'

'The hosts are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Bill extensively explained to me what to see in Stratford, while I enjoyed some excellent home made fruitcake. The room is equipped with kettle, lots of tea bags, instant coffee, instant hot chocolate, and biscuits. Breakfast is fabulous with prizewinning home made jams. All together amazing value for £55 single occupancy. Only downside is the slightly long walk to the town centre.'

'We stayed for two nights and had a pretty good stay. On arrival we were given a room that on the face of it seemed good. However when I check on the booking we had paid for a junior deluxe room and the photos showed a very much better room. We went back to the reception and after some checking were taken to the room we should have had, whet a difference! We got there in the end but were disappointed that we had to challenge to get the room we had actually booked. Otherwise nice stay but a little...

'Beautiful hotel, lovely clean rooms very close to the RSC. Has on site car charging. Downside was how far away our room was from reception, and upstairs. The darkness in the grounds through the garden towards town wasn’t pleasant, we used our phone torches.'

'A lovely place to stay to explore the Cotswolds. Very well furnished rooms and very helpful staff. Nice country pub with excellent food.'

Mooi oud pand in geweldig stadje.'

'Great location, potential to be a beautiful hotel, but needs some tlc. The room was dirty, dirty toilet, headboard had stains all over it, stains on the sheets. No Iron, ironing board or even a hairdryer in the room. Not suitable for disabled people, steps outside the property, stairs everywhere, no lift. The lady on reception was very lovely and very helpful.'

'Had a pleasant overnight stay in Stratford. Hotel was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Very short walk to everything to see in Stratford. Had a couple of minor issues in our room that the helpful staff fixed up right away. Couldn't ask for more. Comfy bed and hearty breakfast. Good value all round'

'Hele nette accommodatie. Vriendelijke eigenaar. '
