'Cabin was very clean and well supplied with all the necessities for an enjoyable stay. We loved the stream behind the cabin and spent many hours exploring and just floating in the water. The location was near many of the activities we were looking for such as mountain climbing and river tubing. "One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
