'This is a unique place to stay on a quiet island. It was very clean and came fully stocked with towels, blankets, fans, etc. Good communication with host. The only thing we didn't expect was no TV service but they have lots of DVDS. We would go for a quiet weekend away again!'

'I always say that for those who are traveling to Michigan’s UP that they should not expect luxury. With that said, The Last Resort should be some folks first option when looking for a place to stay. It represented the UP perfectly. The office combos as a bait and tackle shop, and a friendly dog was there to greet us at the door. The room was perfectly simple.
