'Loved this quaint hotel! Staff were wonderful. I would say the one thing is that there are areas in the pictures where there are lounge chairs... those areas are off limits due to erosion, which I didn't expect. However great location! Walked everywhere! (.75 to ocean beach) I recommend!'

'It’s a magical place! Right inside Shelter Island Marina with a cute beach nearby and bunch of restaurants. We loved our tropical room with quick access to the pool, which is open until 11 PM. You feel like you’re in a Caribbean resort with all the great stuff San Diego has to offer around you. '

'This hotel is far away from the city center and there is no public transport. Hotel does have a few complementary beach bikes (the Harley of bicycles) for the use of guests, it takes 45min to an hour to get to downtown by bike and it is a beautiful route and a fun thing to do. The not so fun part is that it isn't safe to cycle after dark, so you will have to get back early.
There is a dinner party with a movie every night and you will hear it even if you don't want to join.'

'This hotel is old and so is everything in this hotel. Rooms sure are clean but no luxery feeling at all. No vault available on the room. No bar in this hotel and no dining facility. Breakfast room is too small, people had to wait on each other. Breakfast is also very limited with no cheese or meat. Also no fresh warm croissants etc. This hotel unfortunately should not use this high price in this condition.'

'As before, a decent cost-effective stayover facility near Point Loma. Hard to find a more affordable option with the same very friendly and helpful staff and the same great location near Shelter Island. In 10min by car or 15min by bike you're at the boardwalk/center, and Mission Bay and the Pacific beach are around the corner. I'll be back!'

'We wanted a long weekend get away in San Diego and couldn't have been happier with the Kasa accommodations. It is a very quick ride share trip from the airport and we walked everywhere else we wanted to go for the weekend. There are ample restaurant and coffee places very close by and the waterfront is just a few blocks away.'
