'After reading all the positive reviews I was expecting a room that was remodeled motel room. It was musty, stains on carpet, old fridge and the door needed painting. The nice thing is once it gets dark, you don't see all the scuffs. The only good thing were the beds and linens. Even the towels and wash cloths needed replacing. I don't think I will return'

'The location is perfect in Tahoe City, right across the street from The Commons. It was close to great food, drinks and bakery’s. I stayed in room 8, which was on the top floor. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and of high quality. I slept really well and it was very quiet. I appreciated the shampoo, body lotion and conditioner. The thing I DIDNT LIKE was the check in process. I sent them 3 texts asking them how I check in with no response. I later found 4 emails from them...

'The room next door had a bath tub spa which was up against my rooms bed headboard When the spa tub was turned the noise and vibration was like a jet liner sitting on top of my room. This crazy load noise and vibration went on for and hour, before the folks next door turned it off. Then I was able to get to sleep. Terrible noise problem with spa tub.'

'Had our dog and choices are slim in North Lake area. I didn't expect much but was disappointed we couldn't connect to internet, no coffee maker, and it was a bit dirty. The room was spacious and beds good-sheets smelled nice and clean. Location great- across the street from dog park on the Lake!'

'Jammer dat we hier maar 1 nacht verbleven. Wát een fijn verblijf. Heel kleinschalig en rustig. Fijne jacuzzi, zwembad en ‘s avonds een kampvuur. Genoeg parkeerruimte (voor ons huisje). Zou er zeker terugkomen!'

'BEWARE! If you are booking through a third party, the fees are NOT the same as what is advertised. And management does not address any issues. Was charged the most that I’ve ever been charged for a pet cleaning fee, and the room had dog hair on the headboard when we checked in. It’s completely outdated, old TVs, no device charging setups. It looks as if the last time they put money into upgrades was over 10 years ago. It is not a good value. KEEP DRIVING!!! There are way better accommodations...

'I will NOT be using Expedia for further travel; due to the experience we had at this property. This property made it VERY clear that Expedia does not do any on-site Vetting, and if they do, they sure missed this one. The room we had was dirty, the bed felt like it should have been replaced a decade ago, so that made the bed sheets, (that didn't seem to be the correct size) VERY susceptible to coming off, wallpaper was coming off the wall, desk chair leather was cracked and brittle (needed to be...
