'We had an absolutely amazing time in Tamarindo staying at the Capitan Suizo Boutique hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were exceptionally polite and accommodating, and the food was excellent. After exploring the whole town, we concluded that this hotel is likely the nicest place to stay in all of Tamarindo. One of the staff members even went so far as to retrieve a recipe of a dish we were particularly fond of, so we could attempt to recreate it at home. 5/5 stars all...

'A little oasis! Gorgeous garden with a pool. The staff is superkind! Special thank you to Nancy, Mario and Endy! The complimentary dinner is sometimes great, sometimes mediocre but breakfast is always terrific. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The beach is frequented by locals and tourists alike and a great place for surfing from beginners upward. The hotel's beach area is very nice with a small pool. Only minus is the costs of tours and activities. Tamarindo has something to offer...

'We stayed at Ocho a few weeks ago and I'm still dreaming of it. It was by far the best spot on the beach and I loved the manager's dj play lists and even shazamed them so I could save them! Very chill vibe on the beach and really a perfect location there and then literally a 3 min walk to town. There was also a very cool food truck park right behind and I wish we wouldve ate there more!
