'This was a great affordable place to stay, right near Opryland Hotel, Opry Mills, and the Grand Ole Opry. The staff was welcoming and everything was clean. The breakfast had all the basics and was kept fresh. Someone was constantly coming around cleaning it as people got food. Our room was clean and functional, with a refrigerator. 'Hotel was clean and comfortable. Felt like an nice area of town. Was close to Grand ole opry (but a long walk if walking and would say closer to 2 mile). Great breakfast with plenty of scrambled eggs and bacon. Only thing I missed was swimming pool (May 10th) not open when advertised on booking site as open from May. The hotel staff advised of mini bus service to downtown Nashville for $15 cash per person return. We availed of this and it was very handy with several times to go and return. Would...

'Nice hotel rooms. Pretty clean and the rooms are pretty spacious. The only thing I didn’t like is that I had to call the hotel twice for someone to come to the front desk to check in. And lastly, the side door on the first floor is for exiting only and not entering so it made it hard for me to bring things in and out.'

'Friendly and helpful staff. Location right next to a loud bar, so keep in mind to bring earplugs. Bed was extremely comfortable. Property apperantly was "renovated", but seemed still under renovation. You could almost taste the paint in the room. Perhaps it would've been better to accept to have one night without guests after painting during renovations instead of trying to fill up the motel anyhow. '

'Lobby was closed due to renovation. Also the rooms above us were being renovated. Lot of loud working starting at 8am. Woke us up. The hotel did not notify us about the work before hand and offered no compensation. Staff was nice and friendly not their fault. Definitely poorly owned.'

'We stayed 4 days. The location is great, but the hotel is pretty dated. I also didn’t like that house keeping never came. No fresh towels, the small garbage can was overflowing. There was an extra bag in the bottom, but I had to throw it away myself. I had to track down a maid to get extra coffee for each day. I guess for $230 per night, I expected more.'

'We stayed in the Retreat House. The room and bathroom were beautiful and sparkling clean and very spacious. The only reason I did not give this bed-and-breakfast five stars was the location. Belle Air mansion is located on a tremendously busy intersection right off the interstate. It is a MUST that you bring earplugs and an eye mask to get a good nights restful sleep otherwise you will be up all night listening to traffic. Breakfast was delicious!'

'What a gem of a property! We stayed before their “grand opening”, and so they are l working out the kinks. We gave it a two thumbs up, with the only issue being that the refrigerator in the room was on the tiny side. Other than that, we are so happy we stayed there! Put it on your list, if you want to be in Nashville, but want to stay in a quieter part of town.'
