'The Standard heeft een excellente lokatie op loopafstand van St. Pancras. Hotel stijl is star trek 70er jaren maar toch zeer comfortabel. Vriendelijk personeel. Zeer fijn.'

'Stayed at Cleveland Residences for one night as it’s very close to our daughter’s university. Flawless communications, super clean, comfortable , upscale flats, good nearby food options, and 2-3 minutes to Russell Square underground station. This is the place to stay if you haven’t be close to UCL or Univ of London. '

'Very friendly reception and service throughout, lovely personalized breakfast, room was very nice and cosy with quite a large bathroom. Very close to King Cross but no noise during the night. The food at the pub was very good too. WOuld definitely stay here again!'
'The staff is friendly and very helpful. The room was a good size and the bathroom was amazing with everything you would need. The property is in excellent condition and even though they were painting the hallway my room was in, it was never a nuissance. Housekeeping was impeccable. I’ll definitely come back again. '

'Wat hebben wij genoten. Dit hotel is zijn 5 sterren meer dan waard! Alles was perfect!
We kregen een extra attentie ter ere van m'n verjaardag. En zelfs ons dochtertje is super verwend. Heel fijn dat er ook extra aandacht wordt geschonken aan kinderen. De medewerkers zijn ook echt heel erg vriendelijk en bieden een goeie service. Wij komen graag weer eens terug naar dit fantastisch hotel!'

"We got our private riom, and a bed was still used. The room was humid. The male part of the toilets/showers was not working so men came in the female section. No towels provided, and also not mentioned anywhere there would be no towels. Showers were incredibly small and old. We paid quite a bit and did not find it worth it at all."

"I would not recommend this hotel. The room was extremely small, with dirty curtains and a mattress where you could feel every spring—definitely not comfortable. There was no storage space for clothes, and the shower was dirty as well. The tap in the shower barely worked: either scalding hot or freezing cold, with no in-between and very poor water pressure.
Another major inconvenience was that you can’t leave your luggage at the hotel if you arrive before check-in or need to check out early. When I asked the man at the reception if I could leave my suitcase for a while, I was met with a dumbfounded look and the response: “Does it look like I have space for that?”—instead of simply and politely saying there was no room available. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming.
The walls are paper-thin—you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms, which makes it very hard to get a good night’s sleep. The floor in our room was uneven to the point where you could literally trip getting out of bed.
Although breakfast was supposedly included, no explanation was given about where or when it was served. There was also mention of a hairdryer being available, but I certainly didn’t see one in the room.
On top of all that, the photos of the rooms online are very misleading—they do not reflect the reality at all. In my opinion, the value for money was extremely poor. I paid far too much for what this place is actually worth.
