'On first glance, the property seemed as advertised. From there things went downhill quickly. The porch had splinters and loose unsafe floor boards, several doorknobs fell off when turned, and dirty dishes were found in the cabinets. Worst of all, the air conditioning unit upstairs was not working and it was 89 degrees. We originally thought the thermostat just needed to be adjusted and did that, headed out to the beach and several hours later it was no cooler. We reached out to our host who...

'We had a great stay at The Kooler. The daytime beach views were amazing and even better at night for star gazing. We saw several shooting stars! The house was very clean and cozy; a perfect spot for a couple's getaway or for a family with kids. We would definitely rent again. '

'Great house, good open lay out upstairs. Good sized bed rooms and bathrooms. the fenced in back yard with a hot tub and a fire pit makes it very relaxing and enjoyable. Great house for dogs and kids as long as they are able to go up and down stairs, elevator was extremely useful for groceries and luggage. Would definitely recommend renting for a vacation. '

'Easy check in and check out and lovely condo. There was an awful mildew smell throughout the condo. We contacted the property manager who came by and after that it smelled a bit better. We would not stay here again, we both left feeling poorly due to the smell.'

'Our family just returned from a great week at Surf City. The townhouse is closer to the beach than we anticipated and was very clean. The community was wonderful and everything was within walking distance. Both decks had a direct view of the ocean between the houses and it sits on s shore drive which is a less traveled road. '

'Fabulous stay as usual in a wonderfully maintained home. Eileen was very responsive as the host. We love staying here, as we know everything will be immaculate and in great working order, and there will be nothing to do but enjoy the beach. '
