We picked it, however, because we wanted to visit the necropoli of cerveteri (only 20 minutes away) & because we liked the rustic environment... once you get there (over admittedly a bit of rugged road; don't go by sportscar ;) ) we were immediately greeted by wild rabbits, some goats, hogs & pigs, etc... absolutely fantastic! 'Beautiful setting and redone gated farmhouse opposite Orvieto. Nice continental breakfast with view (but ants!). Simple dinner available. Had to call multiple numbers before I found someone to check me in. Waited a while. Clerk didn’t speak English so didn’t help much with concierge info (American owners aren’t on site). Maids noisy early in morning. Can’t get taxis so had to pay driver 35€ every time to Orvieto. (Funicular not working!)'
