'Booked for myself and my 16yo for her first anime convention. Turns out it’s a historic motel from many movies and tv shows over the years. We were perfectly fine with the older setup and everything was kept in great condition. This is not a new building so some quirks were expected like the 2nd bed being in its own room (teen loved that!). '

'Dit hotel ziet eruit alsof het afgelegen zit, maar met het OV kom je echt snel in de drukte terecht. Wel ziet het aan de buitenkant niet echt up to date eruit, en personeel is maar een middag/avond deel aanwezig. Communicatie gaat via sms/whatsapp en dat werkt echt goed. Je moet zelf even appen als je je kamer schoon gemaakt of handdoeken gewisseld wilt hebben. '

'It was quite difficult to find and google maps has it in the wrong place so it is quite difficult to find. It’s about 25 minutes to downtown. There was a lot of security. It was pretty nice but rather small for the five of us. Sadly there were no neighbors in the other 3 properties on site. Parking would have been difficult if there were others but there weren’t. There were some cool features and it was quite modern. I especially liked the TV (I watched the Kara and Nate Canada train video!)...
