'Bed was incredibly comfortable. Room was spotless and had every amenity I could want. Spa, sauna and hot tub were also spotless and well maintained. None of the above compare to the exemplary service we received. With 1,000s of stays all over this world, I can state that this was the best service I have ever received. Would not consider staying anywhere else in Vancouver.'

'Great hotel in excellent location. Everything looks fairly new and in good working order. Great pool and hottub. Lots of closet space, which is a nice change from the norm. Room did not have a terras, but some do, so it might be worth asking for it (if you care about that). Overal a great experience'

'Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. I arrived a bit too early and they were able to provide me with a room hours before my check-in time. I did notice that the elevators were a bit too crowded when there are Conferences going on and since you're not able to easily switch elevators, you might stop on every floor before getting to the lobby (which might be a few of you're high up). Other than that, loved my stay here and would definitely come back again'

'A travel writer friend recommended the Sylvia Hotel. We loved our stay there. Our room, the hotel staff, and the restaurant were great. The location on English Bay Beach can't be beat, and Stanley Park, Canadaa Place, Chinatown, and Gastown are close by.
We walked around the area checking out restaurant options (of which there are plenty), but we returned to the hotel for both breakfast and dinner as the food was excellent, the wait staff was wonderful, and the prices were no higher than those...

"Great location and great stay. Best breakfast buffet ever seen!"
"Niet helemaal wat we er van verwacht hadden. Kleine kamer, geen ruimte om je spullen goed op te hangen, parkeren was niet inbegrepen en kostte $25 per dag, geen ontbijt inbegrepen, warme kamer. Wel schoon en airco. Personeel ok, maar niet heel erg enthousiast. Overall wat prijzig voor wat je uiteindelijk krijgt."
