'Great hotel in excellent location. Everything looks fairly new and in good working order. Great pool and hottub. Lots of closet space, which is a nice change from the norm. Room did not have a terras, but some do, so it might be worth asking for it (if you care about that). Overal a great experience'

'Located in the financial hub of Vancouver, the Hyatt Alberni is convenient for the shops and restaurants on Robson Street and near to the cruise terminal. 'A travel writer friend recommended the Sylvia Hotel. We loved our stay there. Our room, the hotel staff, and the restaurant were great. The location on English Bay Beach can't be beat, and Stanley Park, Canadaa Place, Chinatown, and Gastown are close by.

'Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. I arrived a bit too early and they were able to provide me with a room hours before my check-in time. I did notice that the elevators were a bit too crowded when there are Conferences going on and since you're not able to easily switch elevators, you might stop on every floor before getting to the lobby (which might be a few of you're high up). Other than that, loved my stay here and would definitely come back again'
