'Despite being constructed fairly recently, this hotel was in terrible shape. Room was tiny and worn down. Shower/tub was broken and made so much noise that we were surprised our young children didn’t wake up when we tried to take showers at night. '

'Its a shame this hotel is branded Staybridge. I have seen a lot of Staybridge hotels, and this one is an absoluut dump. Compleet rundown place, would not be a problem if it looks like 1980, but apparently that was the last time it was cleaned. Filty bath, filthy kitchen, no water pressure, AC will kill you. Stayed 2 nights. Because of location, second day no room service. Should have handed them the keys and left first night, but the perfect location to TX tech kept me. '

'arrrived 30 minutes before checkin. had to stand in line for over an hour. then our room wasn,t ready. we were told it would be ready when we got back from the concert, which was after midnight. We had to put our luggage back in the car and my wife had to change clothes in the bathroom and fix her hair and put on makeup in the hallway. 300 dollars for a 9 hour stay. will never stay there again.'

'We booked the last room on Expedia and paid in full as we were in Lubbock for the George Strait concert and the city and up to 1 hr travel was sold out! When we arrived at the Travel Lodge we were told they gave our room to someone else but they had another room that they don’t usually rent out that we could stay in. We had no other choice but to accept because we were 5 hours from home and we could not find another room in Lubbock! It was horrible!! Broken window, mold in the tub/shower,...

'When I called to advise I will be checking in late the “manager” informed me my reservation was canceled. No one called me or tried to reach me as to why. When I asked for a manager she stated she was the manager and started yelling. Worst customer service especially from a “manager”. '

'NEVER GO HERE!!! Ever ever ever. Absolutely disgusting and no help from staff. A million cigarette stains on the bathtub. Water unusable to wash with. Terrifying stay.'
