'We rented this cabin for the weekend of the App State Homecoming. The cabin is exactly as described, well appointed and had a fantastic view of Grandfather Mountain. Arriving after dark amid snow and wind, we entered a cozy cabin with gas logs, beautiful furnishings and plenty of room to spread out. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us!'

'Carol has thought of everything needed for a mountain escape in the most wonderful cabin. The cabin is surrounded by trees with vistas all around. So many places to gather together. The late afternoon fire pit was one of our favourite. Comfortable beds with plenty of blankets and pillows. Carol was easily accessible and helpful. The location is close to App State, Boone, Blowing Rock Grandfather’s Mountain and so much more. We highly recommend staying there and hope to be back ourselves again....

'Sister getaway in this beautiful spacious cabin. So clean. Everything we needed was there. Views are great from the porch. Hot tub was fabulous with mountain views. So cozy. I hope to be back. Steep drive up but we had no problems on my Honda Odyssey van. Quick response time from owner. '

'We had the best time staying here over the weekend of the fourth! It was in the perfect area close to Boone for weekend activities. The house was very clean and the beds were great! We enjoyed the peacefulness of being up on the mountain by ourselves. The hot tub was wonderful on the cool nights. We hope to come back and stay in the future! '
