'We were very disappointed with the Holiday Inn in Columbus, Texas. I would not recommend this property to anyone! This hotel needs to be refurbished or remodeled or leveled and start over. 'For an advertised non-smoking room, it smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was stained and in disrepair. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were flat and not enough of them. It was cheap and convenient but I’d probably not stay there again. Towels were clean and having a fridge and microwave was nice for such a cheap room. Lack of deadbolts and safety bar was unsettling. 'Second time coming here and not the last. The perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. I love spending time outside on the property as well as surrounding areas enjoying wineries, meaderies, shopping, food, and live music. The host family is the best. Attentive, and very genuine good people. I love the Queens Hotel!!! Has everything we needed, and is always clean and ready for a great weekend.'
