'Great hotel if cycling C2C, as they serve breakfast from 4am. Cycles allowed in rooms too. Very clean, although my bathroom was very small and fitted with a movement light, which meant it going dark whilst in the shower'

' Had an amazing stay. Hotel,spa and grounds so lovely! Super, lovely garden room with views towards the lake!The staff here really do go above and beyond! Loved the spa with fantastic staff! The meal in the Grill was fantastic! Loved the real fires, especially in the great main Hall Highly recommend a stay here! Wish we could have stayed longer!'

'Holiday Inn in Dumfries is goed bevallen. Prima hotel, maar niet heel bijzonder. Ontbijt en kamer was ok. Locatie is erg mooi, op een universiteitscampus. Helaas past de aanbouw van het hotel hier niet echt bij. Er waren nog wel wat verbeterpunten. We hadden voor 4 personen gereserveerd. In de kamer was het reservebed wel klaar gemaakt, maar verder ontbraken nog wat dingen (handdoek, beker) voor de extra personen. Verder was het extra bed doorgezakt. '
