'Great hotel quiet and in an amazing place'

'The rooms were so dirty, Its like entering a once verry nice house. But the moment you enter the room it smells duff and diguisting. The rooms are weird when you enter you immidiatly go down a bunch of stairs. The bathroom looks like it hasnt been cleaned in centuries and the tiles of the floor are lose. My bed had a blood stain from someone on the blanket witch was disguisting. Dont recommend staying here unless you absolutely have to!!! Personel was nice tho'

'Excellent dog-friendly hotel with superb personnel who connect with the guests. Great location in borrowdale.'

'Very nice guesthouse. No parking so we had to look for a parking place in the streets..'

'Bit dated'

'Did exactly what it needed to do. Free parking for the van within walking distance. Lovely food and great staff.'

'Nice rooms in authentic atmosphere, the bed was relatively small. All accomodations were present. Excellent breakfast with custom eggs on demand.'

'The room was clean beside a blood stain on one of the duvets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was an issue as the road was being resurfaced, but the staff did tell us where the best place to park was. The breakfast was excellent, it really set us up for a day in the hills. Overall a good value room for visiting the Lakes.'

'Lovely bed and breakfast in Keswick; close to restaurants. Parking is difficult on weekends.'

'Lovely lady. Very friendly and accommodating. Quaint house.'

'Een zeer charmant hotel in typische UK-stijl. Alles was top! '

'Host was very friendly and helpful. He even packed a cakes for us when we checked out. Thanks.'

'Stayed five times, excellent hotel fro a short break away .'

'A comfortable stay. Stayed here before and I can recommend this place. '
