'Our third stay in this hotel. Staff lovely and helpful and food excellent although really don’t like buffet style breakfast. Bedroom would benefit from an update- carpet I’ll fitting, no full length mirror. Bed comfortable. Bathroom lovely and shower worked well. Choice to decide if you want your room serviced or not.'

'Sterk verouderd hotel. Daar is de prijs ook naar. Prima ontbijt en ideale locatie aan het strand en op 15 minuten rijden van de mooie wegen in Lake District. Bar en eten was top! Toilet bediening werkte niet erg goed. In het hotel hing een wat muffe lucht.'

'Fantastic staff, excellent breakfast, super parking, very clean modern room, free WiFi, Netflix and prime TV, good bed, in room tea & coffee with biscuits, to take good to great would be the addition of a blackout blind to the room window & a shelf / surface in the ensuite to put toiletries on.'

'Excellent hotel, nothing to complain about. Stayed here to go to scafell pike which was around 25 minutes drive away. Also a beach around 10 minutes drive away. Hotel has a large car park, great outdoor space to sit as well. Only down side was we went to pool room and it was locked, got the staff to open it and got change for the table from the bar. Just as we were going to start playing noticed one cue was broken in half and the other the tip was missing. Dart board not in the best condition....

'Set in a beautiful village this accomodation stands out withbits exterior decor. Parking is a short walk away and not onsite but this isnt gar and not a problem. We were greeted by a wonderful ladybwhonwas full of smiles, verybfriendly and appeared tonreally enjoy her job. She showed us to our room and left us to unpack. The room was big enougb fornthe 2 of us and had a good sized ensuite shower room. The rooms facilities were excellent. Smart tv, wifif and smart heating as well as a kettle...
