'From the moment we came we felt right at home! Such a comfortable place to stay! Every morning we were greeted by a beautiful bald eagle on the lake as well as the chitter chatter of birds. For those who have a hard time climbing stairs, this is NOT the place for you. Bedrooms as well as bathrooms are not on the main level. No matter we would definitely want to stay again!'

'We stayed at this newly renovated beach house for a long weekend in April. The home is big, spacious and beautifully decorated. Every bed is super comfy and we fell asleep listening to the waves. We loved the big kitchen! We had all nine beds filled and still had plenty of room and privacy. We love Milford shoreline and this home made our weekend celebration just perfect. 'This was walking distance to the Total Mortgage Arena for our robotics competition. Having the full kitchen to cook meals was awesome. Nice comfy beds, plenty of space, I claimed the nook off the kitchen/dining area for myself. Boys had front room to work on their robot.'

'So the house is advertised as 4 bedroom but one of the rooms is an attic room with a trundle bed we didn’t really find suitable for any of our guests during the stay. Minimal furniture and some ant problems in the kitchen The in and out of the house was super nice plus the bathroom situation was great. Did the job sorta for what we needed (someone had to bring an air mattress though) but wouldn’t stay again'

'The neighborhood was clean, upscale, and beautifully kept. It came with Candlewood Beach access. The second story suite was gorgeous, clean, and well apportioned. The bed was comfortable. The whole house was well maintained and a wonderful,"homey" feel to it. The Hostess was friendly, cheerful, and very accommodating. The house is on the hillside leading to Lake Candlewood. As can be imagined, the views from the windows were outstanding.'

'Our five adult children, us and our basset hound had a fantastic time. Spent a lot of time in the pool. The kids loved kayaking, fishing and the stand up paddle boards. We played some pool, air hockey and put together some puzzles. The beds were comfy, the couch was cozy for family movie night and morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake was so calming. Amenities were close by and the pizza from Good Old Days was delicious. Would definitely recommend this stunning home.'
