'A perfect setting to sit back and relax. Front porch was perfect to sit and rest a spell. A clean, comfy and cozy interior. Beautiful grounds to walk around, visit the horses or sit by the back fire pit - we didn’t use but it would certainly be inviting. Leslie and Allen were gracious and hospitable hosts. We frequently utilize Vrbo and it’s rare that we get to meet the hosts, so it was nice to met them. Very communicative and ensured our needs were met.'

'The house was very cute and comfortable. We had the basics as needed in the apartment. The beds and linen made for a good night sleep. Having 2 full bathrooms was great. The drive from Lexington was so scenic. Definitely check out Wallace Station Deli right down the road. I would recommend this place to others traveling to the area.'

'The house is charming, extremely clean and comfy. The linens and access to helpful kitchen items is a bonus. The ease of booking and gaining access waa seamless. The only little thing was that the sofa bed was in the same room with queen bed. We didnt need to use it but if our other guest had joined the trip it would have been difficult. The king and queen beds are very comfy. '

'Our 2-night stay at Soggy Bottom Cottage couldn't have been more perfect. It's in a lovely quiet setting; secluded but close to Keeneland, distilleries, and restaurants. The cottage is so cozy and welcoming that we could have stayed there relaxing the entire time. Our hosts next door were kind and accommodating without being the least bit intrusive. 'We loved staying at Bourbon Barrel Cottages! It was a lovely getaway for us and our dog (yes, pet friendly!). Close to many distilleries but tucked away and peaceful. We enjoyed the hottub and fire pit each night and walking our dog every day. Looking forward to our next stay!'

'Even better than advertised. Conveniently located to Bourbon Trail. The area is nice, quiet, and relaxing. We loved the attention to details in the cabin. Had everything we needed and more. Was even decorated for Christmas 🎄 We enjoyed roaming around the property with our dog. Definitely our new go to place for the Frankfort area.'

'My daughter and I stayed here while we attended an event at the Kentucky Horse Park. It is conveniently located and in a beautiful setting surrounded by horses and green paddocks. John and Debbie are very friendly and helpful. Was lovely to see all the fouls that were born in the weeks before we got there.'

'Definitely a good place to wind down. Woke up on the second morning to several cows and a few calf’s at the fence. I was so excited, but know to respect their space. It woke up early every morning just to see if they were there. Sat on the porch every evening and enjoyed the sounds of farm life in the distance. Thank You!'

'It was a great place in a great location. The cottage was clean and well maintained with all the connivences desired. The location was close to the Perryville Battleground and while I am not a big civil war buff the small visitors center was exceptional. The location is also well centered for scenic day road trips through the bluegrass and bourbon country. The host was very attentive. Highly recommended.'

'We enjoyed our stay. We were in town for a graduation and it was perfect for our family and close to Asbury. There was a lot of extras…toiletries, other necessities and coffee as well as little things not thought of by most host. Places to improve would be to replace the vertical blinds with sheer/lightweight curtains. The futon was a bit challenging to manage. I would definitely stay again. ❤️'
