'Grandby Cottage was charming, the main house magnificant and the grounds were beautiful. The wisteria was in full bloom. I felt like I was taken back in time, expecting a carriage to pull up at any moment.Amanda is a great host and answered all our questions. Our itinerary the day after we arrived was:Day 1 -- Bath. We did the free walking tour (fantastic) and toured the Roman baths.Day 2 -- Stonehenge (We walked instead of taking the bus, which was so much better.) Avebury (one pub in town)...

'We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Great location for sight seeing and eating out. Wi fi was slow but not a massive issue and certainly not a deal breaker. Would recommend and stay here again. '

'Alma House looks charming. It is situated in a quiet location just off the main square. There is one parking place, additional parking in paying car parks close by. Check-in was straightforward. Our host contacted us to check that we were happy with the property on arrival. The internal decor was in very good condition. The property feels spacious. The kitchen was well-equipped, but Marlborough has multiple places to eat if it would be preferable to eat out. There is a Waitrose a few doors...

'What a beautiful house and fab hosts! We rented the cottage for my sister's hen do and it could not have been more perfect for what we had planned. The space inside and out was brilliant for a group and Charlie and Kitkat were really helpful in the lead up and during our stay. We really enjoyed having the big outside space, as well as plenty of space to cook and dine together - the double fridge was excellent! Lovely easy walks to do from the house as well to blow out some cobwebs. Would highly...

'It was wonderfull. The house is very luxureous and every single detail is perfect. Even our dog was in heaven, because he had his own drinking and dining bowl, a ball, ... The beds are amazing, the master bathroom even has a TV. The wifi works perfectly and there are great dvd's and Netflix if you want. We spent all of our time exploring the area.we visited Bath, Stonehenge, the area were they filmed the BBC serie Midsumer murders, Bradford on Avon, Stratford upon Avon, ... And the surrounding...
