'Fijn compleet huis in een rustige buurt. Traditioneel Engels ingericht. Ik miste een koffiezetapparaat maar ja Nederlanders zoals wij drinken meer koffie dan thee.'

'We stayed in July 2024 as a group of 13 (age range was teenagers to adults) + 2 dogs. Location is great with a good range of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance from the house and main attractions of Windermere a short drive away. 5 en-suite bathrooms were much appreciated given we were 4 separate families. Also a table we could all sit at at the same time also fab! Hot tub also appreciated!'

'Couldn’t fault the property whatsoever, only downside to the stay was workman digging up the road outside from 8-5 each day which also restricted access to the property. Not a fault of the host of course but needed to leave the property during the day as couldn’t hear yourself think when workers working. '

'Great house and location'

'What a fantastic cottage with everything we could have needed. Very homely and it was such a nice touch to arrive with the heating and lights on. Just a short walk into Windermere so was perfect for the whole family. The dog settled really well and our 6 year old son said it was the place place he'd ever stayed! The owner was super accommodating when we needed a late check-out due to the heavy snow. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be coming...
