'This is the third time my wife and I have stayed in Viewpoint Cabin. We stayed for 3 nights for half of our Honeymoon in 2015 and loved it so much we came back for a full week in 2017 and again for 3 nights in 2025. "One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
