'Its a little bit of a hike going to the inn so be aware not to bring big luggages. I did read the previous review and had only my overnight bag and that helps a lot. The inn itself is pretty clean, the staff were accomodating and I was able to book the private onsen. Its a nice place to relax after a long day of walking around hakone'

'Our favorite stop by far. The kids adored the place and the owners, it’s like staying with loving grandparents. A very traditional, authentic Japanese household with natural hot springs, and traditional bath robes provided. The fixtures are in their original state, they reflect the history of a family that have shared their way of life with wondering guests throughout the years. The breakfast was very traditional and generous, we enjoyed it with green tea and sitting on the floor with low table....

'Excellent service, checking in was fast and friendly. The rooms are large and luxurious with a “Zen” feeling. Breakfast & dining were very good, We tried the onsen, it was outstanding, after this you really feel born again. But most important and probably the best reason to book this hotel is because of the staff, they gave us top service and were so kind and gave us the best tips for sightseeing '

"Een prima hotel. Grote schone kamer. Ontbijt was heel goed en wij hebben gebruik gemaakt van het diner in buffetvorm. Dit was uitstekend en voor een goede prijs. Personeel is heel aardig. Er is ook van alles te doen: Heerlijke Onsen, tafelvoetbal, tafeltennis, Karaoke kamers, enz. "

"Great hotel. It’s a bit outside the center of activity but with bus stops across the street it’s easy to reach all Hakone highlights. Breakfast is good and room was very spacious. Onsen is nice as well although a bit small. Downside is that you have to reserve diner a day before. "
