No other guests were staying the evening of our visit, so the caretaker gave us a tour of the house, and even let us see the attic. It really is just like the Loyd Hall website states...that there is no one else in the home, in terms of staff members, and if you...

'Greenwood Plantation is such a beautiful and peaceful place! The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the quiet, relaxing atmosphere makes it the perfect little getaway. Breakfast was delicious, and the hospitality made our stay even better. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. We’ll definitely be back!'

'Gorgeous grounds and mansion. 38 acres of ponds, fountains, and sculptures. Fabulous meals.'

'Fantastische locatie in de rivierdelta buiten New Orleans. '
