'Great place to stop if you're looking to be close to the tri-state area, going to Boston or just road-tripping. The staff were exceptionally kind and offered a microwave as an amenity when we needed one to heat up our leftover food. They even came to bring it. Housekeeping was thorough and rooms smelled clean. 'Absolutely loved this place. It’s like the perfect cross between B&B and hotel. The staff was delightful. We really enjoyed the speakeasy in the basement (hi Jim!). We met so many fellow travelers there. The location is perfect. Portsmouth is a great town, totally walkable, very safe and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend staying here'
