'This was a great location to get away from the busyness of life and get a fresh start. I have to say I wasn't prepared for the sulfur water. It would have been nice to know that it is a good idea to bring bottled water.'

'Stayed there for only 2 nights for the railfan winterfest. The house is very close to the tracks but still just far enough away.(separated only by a small parking lot and long grassy yard) You can see the trains just by opening the back door. Conductors Cabin is a home away from home. Extremely clean, the beds are very comfortable. the decor is up to date and very nice. Just a lovely and cozy home. And, the hosts are very, very nice and easy to work with. Definitely will try to stay there again...

'We came to GA to visit family. We spent 4 nights. We loved this home! The first thing I noticed when opening the door is the fresh smell! It’s so clean & fresh. The kitchen was well-stocked. The beds are so comfortable! I enjoyed walking around the lake each morning. The kids enjoyed fishing every day. We plan on staying there when we go back to Blackshear!'

'We loved the old house and the old time feel. It had a lot of character and a lot of antiques but also friendly for kids of all ages. They just said put it up high if little hands would touch it. We would love to come to this same house for another vacation. We were all sad to leave!'

'Mimi and Pops place was fantastic for our little family. There was communication beforehand on the check in process and we were able to walk through together when we checked in. The camper is much more spacious than it looks and pictures don’t do it justice. The only issue is that we couldn’t stay forever! 'Host is attentive to issues and is very communicative. As other reviews have mentioned the check in and out process is a little over the top. The AC is shut off after each renter so be prepared to arrive to 85 degrees and have to wait for the house to cool down once you turn on at check in if staying during hot weather.'

'Wonderful property conveniently located near Fort Stewart in a great neighborhood. The beautiful home was very clean and the extra care taken with providing amenities for their guests helped make the stay that much better. This home will be our first choice when we visit again.'

'Our family of four kids and my partner and I enjoyed getting away from the city over the weekend. We’ve visited other cabin but this one my family enjoyed the most. Not only is it roomy inside but the children enjoyed playing in the water outside. Thank you for allowing us to stay here. We were celebrating my birthday and the fact that I passed the state exam to become a Police Officer in Florida. Our stay here was great and the kids would definitely want to return!!'

'Lovely home & setting. Very peaceful. Lots of nice touches…snacks, popcorn machine, wood for outdoor fire & supplies for s’mores, breakfast foods available, etc. Owner very responsive, polite & easy to work with. Only complaint about the house was it needed a good deep cleaning. I’m sure it’s hard to accomplish this with the few hours they have between check out & check in. We did have issues with the listing on VRBO - when booked (almost a year ago) the listing did say events up to 50 people....

'My husband and I stayed here for a weekend. We had a very relaxing stay, just what we were looking for! Also, caught a few fish. This place is well stocked with all your daily essentials. The view of the river is beautiful. The property owner is very responsive and helpful. We hope to visit this cabin again or check out another property from this same owner in the future soon(:'

'The house is lovely. It’s spacious with lots of private areas so would be good for a large family. It also has lots of open spaces where bigger groups can gather. I was in town visiting my husband who is working in the area. We enjoyed our time there. I was able to work remotely during my stay. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly.'

'We wanted to visit my daughter and her family at Fort Stewart but didn’t want to stay in a hotel. Fortunately we found this lovely property that allowed us to spend as much time together as possible before she left for Poland. The pool for my grandson to play in was a big plus. Charlene (the owner) was very responsive to our questions. I hope we can get back before my daughter leaves on her next assignment.'

'My wife, our baby, and I enjoyed this property. The location is great! Can be loud occasionally at night, and it only has street parking that is payment required, but to be in the city in your own flat. It's great! Easy to walk around the city. Loved using the amenities to make food, wash clothes. We were able to relax when it's raining or we're tired. Very nice space as well, with exposed brick and quality furniture pieces. '
