'The parking garage was right next to the hotel. The breakfast was consistently well done and the coffee was available around the clock. That was also well made. The room was taken care of daily. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was spot on. The fresh towels were appreciated. The staff was friendly. The free bus stop was right across the street. The pool was also well maintained. All in all, a home run!!'

'Overall our stay was not all that bad. We had a great view of the beech and easy straightforward access without having to go way around any obstacles to get to the beech. The property was in fair condition, but you can tell it needs a lot of work. Our ac didn’t seem to be able to keep up so it was very warm in our room even overnight when you’d think the ac would be more capable, so we just bought a fan to help supplement the ac. 'We had rented 2 rooms. The first room everything seemed to work okay. But the 2nd room the refrigerator did not work at all. They had a small one in the room that worked okay. It also had an indoor pool that was not available for use at all. Not sure why the pool was not available. My great grandchildren were a little disappointed with no pool. We were not at the hotel except mainly for sleeping, we had many activities planned for the few days we were in Charleston. The air conditioning...

'We love the location and usually have a great experience here. However, this time, the room was pretty run down. The blackout curtains were cracked and broken, pillows were super lumpy and uncomfortable and bathroom towels were very threadbare. Just seems like they need to do some updates to the linens and rooms.'
