'Our group stayed at La Posada during a women’s retreat. The location was great, and most of the staff were wonderful. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel and our room experiences left quite a bit to be desired.
The hotel is definitely dated, and the rooms themselves are very tired, dark, and in need of updating. During the first part of my stay, my room had a few spots of dog feces on the carpet. While it appeared that the mess had been picked up, the carpet clearly had not been properly...

Around 12am on our 3rd night, we awoke to sounds of a mouse scurrying around. We opened the doors and scooted it out onto the second story patio. Checking the room, we then found several droppings.
We called front desk, who told us there were no rooms we could move to. They sent cleaners to vacuum our room and change bedding, which finished about 1am.

'Everything was amazing. We ate at the restaurant - amazing and uniquely locally sourced breakfast. I loved the ability to get just one blue corn pancake.
