'Everything about the gardener lake house was wonderful. The drive-in is like going into another world down a long dirt road to privacy and spectacular view of the lake. Yet, you’re only a few miles from the town.The swimming on the other side of the dock is a nice Sandy bottom and easy for people and dogs. The house is well equipped for the kitchen and the living room is big, comfortable, and has great view of the lake. The side deck was the star! We took long drives along the coast and Gardner...

'Sister’s trip. We loved the location and proximity to restaurants, ferry, etc. We were able to walk to breakfast, shopping, groceries, and dinner. Winter Harbor is a delightful town. Residents were so helpful and kind. House had everything we needed. Tastefully decorated. By driving, close to Acadia State Park. So much to do in the area. We would stay again. Highly recommend Treehouse Inn and quick walk down the street. Delicious food and drinks. '

'Cute bungalow on active lobster harbor. The bungalow was comfortable and inviting and had all of the necessary amenities! The bed was so comfortable and the TV and couch were so nice to come home to after a day of exploring and hiking! We loved sitting on the screened in porch and exploring down by the water and even watching to lobster boats go out for the day!'

Convenient to everything the town has to offer from an abundance of lobster pounds, fresh harvested mussels to a general store and public library all within walking distance. A pleasant and affordable setting with an attentive host.'

'We loved this house and the location! We've stayed in a nearby house for many vacations through the years but needed something bigger, and this house was perfect for us. It's quirky and filled with art, and beautiful ocean views.The upstairs layout is a little funky (one bedroom is only accessible via adjoining rooms, and one large bedroom has the back staircase in it) but it was totally fine for us. Our kids loved the visiting chickens and walking to the beach each morning.'

'This home was perfect for our family vacation! Our children and grandchildren joined us and had much fun in the pool, while we enjoyed the peace and quiet the large bay frontage allowed us. Our dog had a wonderful time, the house is very dog friendly and the dogs who like to swim, as ours does, there is a small bay 500 yards away that is safe for them to do so. Awesome place!'
