'I was here for just one night. My room was great although there was construction pretty much right in front of my view of the lake. No one was working but still hindered the view. Bed was comfy and lots of space in the room. '

'This hotel with a history offers great surroundings near Saranac lake, spacious, modern and clean family rooms, and friendly staff for a reasonable price. During our 3 week trip in July through north east of USA and Canada we planned to stay here for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We were very lucky with the weather ( 75 -82 F) but heard the winter period lasts long and is tough.'

The staff were universally cheerful, helpful, and informative - especially at the front desk. Our room was very large and comfortable, although the walls were varying shades of (battleship) grey and the furniture blocky and institutional.
