'We have been coming to Schroon Lake every year for over 40 years. This was our first stay at the Maple Leaf Motel. We only stayed one night, but the accommodations were perfect for our stay. 'We couldn’t stay as it was -8 and the heater wasn’t working. They offered a small space heater but that was not going to be enough for that cold of weather. It forecasted to get to -15 that night. They are also refusing to issue a refund.'
