'An incredibly well designed hotel! It's modern and yet full of history of Otsu. Certainly a hidden gem. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Not to be missed is their guided tour by the hotel staff. We love hearing the stories and the neighbourhood eating places are simply amazing!! We'll surely come back again. Thanks for making our stay a truly memorable one. '

The only slight criticism would be the swimming pool - access earlier in the day (from 7:00 am ? and maybe keeping it open later than 17:00) would be highly desirable !!'
