'Located in a community minded neighbourhood, close to transport, restaurants, pub and supermarkets. A great location to seamlessly explore the beautiful city of Boston. Very clean, good amenities and well priced.'

'This is a good unit for its price. The issue was that the front door did not really lock and when the other unit hosted a huge party, we found people pushing our door open and wandering in. We ultimately barricaded the door with furniture, but it really was a problem.'

'Lovely large apartment, comfortably and appealingly furnished, with a great selection of books and games that give it a very homey feel. Anne is very welcoming and accommodating. Just a few steps from Harvard Square, away from the bustle but super conveniently close to everything. A perfect place for our stay during Harvard commencement week.'

'Great location- 15 min to freedom trail. Nice restaurants within walking distance Clean unit- well stocked. Easy parking Has a lot of charm'

'The property was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and stocked with plenty of thoughtful amenities. My only suggestion is to clearly state in the listing that it is a basement apartment. It would also be a great improvement to add soundproofing to the ceiling, as we could hear the people upstairs walking around and making noise throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep.'

'The unit was listed as "sleeps 5". However the owner advised me that the unit would only sleep 4, and asked why would I think it slept 4 if there were only two bedrooms, to which I replied that I assumed it must have a sleeper sofa or murphy bed that would accommodate the 5th person that the listing said it would accommodate. Unfortunately at this point in time the period for cancellation had already passed. The owner asked me to pay an additional 35 and he would provide an air mattress for...

'To be honest or stay at this home was just OK. The price that we paid seemed very high for what we got. First of all, we arrived to find another vehicle, parked in the driveway, which we couldn’t use. It was a very warm day and the air-conditioning inside the place was shut off so it took several hours for it to get cool. The listing did not mention that the place was the second floor of a building which we had to access by climbing a narrow stairway with low ceilings. Since we were traveling...

'Great place to spend the night. I love the workspace set up.'

'I was told the property was like living the New England experience, older and crowded. Property clean, host had excellent communication. No complaints.'

'We had a pleasant day in this unit. We liked the coffee choices (makers and ingredients). Very well equipped kitchen with thoughtfully chosen items -- good stuff and not just a collection of yard sale junk. Great linens, comfortable bed. Owner was easy to reach and communicated effectively, and remedied the few minor issues that came up during our stay. Walkable neighborhood with a few good local food choices. Basement laundry was a bit off-putting and the stairway down was tricky at best....

'Great neighborhood! Great space inside, well stocked, very clean and the parking was such a great benefit. The host communicated promptly, we really enjoyed our stay. Enough space for the whole family, just need to be aware there are people living above and sound travels but they were friendly we had no problems.'
