'"We had an absolute blast at this lake house! The location was perfect for our family, with plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, and swimming. The house itself was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing vacation. The views of the lake from the deck were stunning, and we spent hours just sitting there, watching the sunset. The kids loved all the outdoor activities, and my wife and I enjoyed some much-needed R&R. We can't wait to come back and experience it...

'Property was very nice. A few things needed upgrades. The grill was rusty and we couldn’t use it. The bathtub needed a grab bar. The treads to the dock were very slippery when wet because of mold. And a couple of treads leading down to dock were loose. We enjoyed boating and fishing was great. It was also nice to have boat ramp so close to cottage and our boat right on our dock. '

'Very much enjoyed the treehouse feeling of this cool place -- we had excellent July weather during our short stay; this was one of the places we stayed in on a two-week jaunt up and down the coast. Cool breezes, warm lake, very peaceful. The place is perfect for a couple or one family with a few kids. Has the added cachet of having been on an episode of "Maine Cabin Masters" some years back -- if you know, you know. Not luxurious, but that's not the point of a good summer camp! We loved it.'

'The cottage was lovely; there was everything we needed. The gas fireplace was wonderful so nice for cool evenings. The kitchen had all the basics for fixing a meal; but being half way between Belfast and Camden you have some wonderful places to eat! Also both towns offer a wide variety or shopping opportunities (no large box stores here!). The rocky coast lines is lovely!'

"Honestly, we really wanted to give a 5 star review, just because Marc was such a great host. But all in all our experience was a bit disappointing - considering what we paid. We had booked a cottage but it was actually a room in a cottage with several other rooms in it. The room itself did not offer the right value for money. It was clean and the bed was great, but everything else felt and looked tired and worn. The curtains looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 90s. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. There was a coffee maker but no condiments to go with it. Camden is a charming place to stay and the High Tide Inn is right on the ocean shore, which probably explains the rates. But if Marc wants to make this place work, he needs to do some work on the place. "
