'Information via Expedia was not great. If you mention in the booking breakfast with a checkmark behind it I assume it will be included. This is just intentionally unclear. The hotel staff was very nice but the building was quite old and not recently renovated. Breakfast was very busy and only limited options. For the 25 usd, also a cappucino was not included and charged extra. We also paid much more 3 months in advance than the price was a few weeks and days before our trip. Which was not...

'Room was clean and well kept, but the AC in our room kept shutting off or just didn’t work. Even if it was finally blowing out cold air, the air was so muggy in our room. Definitely a moisture issue. Downstairs is very well AC’d but not the rooms. Other than that, a nice clean, safe place to stay within great distance of Power and Light District!'

'The hotel was very nice. We were there for World Cup soccer. Disappointed the hotel didnt have any soccer themed decor anywhere. Didn't feel like the energy the rest of city had. Only 1 pack of coffee for room reserved for 2 people. Shampoo was empty. We called for more of each, never got it. Room was very clean and location ideal.'

'Our first room was blowing out heat (85°) so we were switched to a second room which was fine. It did take 20 min for us to have hot water …every shower. Dinner was good and bartender was friendly. Breakfast buffet was absolutely horrible.'

'An updated hotel in an art deco property which is most noticeable in the lobby and bar. Room was updated but did have several minor maintenance issues that needed to be fixed. The location was excellent a block away from the Power and Light entertainment district and the streetcar line on Main St. For the World Cup they had TVs set up in the lobby area. We didn't go to the restaurant or onsite bar. There is a Starbucks but there is a much better coffee shop with breakfast just up the street,...
