'My family and I had a very pleasant stay! Plaza Casita is very walkable to great restaurants, the grocery store, and Cal Poly Humboldt (which we were checking out for my son). The only weird thing that happened was that Vrbo cancelled my trip (after we'd already paid and while we were in route to our destination), but Amy (the host) and I were able to stay in communication, and she knew we were still planning to stay. 'Our cottage was beautiful as was the garden and very pet friendly while the kitchen provided all we needed to cook simple meals. The location was central and allowed the option to walk everywhere.My only reservation was no light in the shower or over the sink but those were small inconveniences compared to the many amenities available. Absolutely loved the artwork and overall eclectic decor!'

'I needed to visit the area at the last minute and I really lucked out with this home. You can tell you are staying in someone’s home not a house that has been “flipped” for short term rentals. It is super cozy with high quality furnishings and the kitchen is stocked better than anywhere else I’ve stayed. It’s hard to tell from the listing but there are 3 separate rooms for sleeping. One queen bed in one room, two twin beds in another room and a futon in the tv room. I visited to help a family...
