We had an amazing time trekking out in the woods in the snow.Kitchen was well stocked and the treats, coffee and tea were a nice bonus. My kids enjoyed the extra games as well! It was a very cozy set up for a snowy week away, with a pellet stove, an ample amount of puzzles stocked in the house, and the surprise perk of Studley, a 12 year old cuddle machine of a cat who lives here and provided great company. The host was very responsive to all of my messages, and had the driveway promptly plowed in the inclimate weather '

'Strong dog smell, dirty shabby condition of interior surfaces. Obvious makeshift repairs, spongy floors, torn, flaking couch. Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. 'We had the most wonderful stay! The house and the property were beautiful, the amentities were excellent, and Linda Jane was an incredibly generous and accommodating host. We visit Bennington every year for Thanksgiving with family and we hope to rent with Linda Jane again in the future.'
